Skill in Action, Unity in Celebration: Jinyu Canmaking Hosts “July 1st” Labor Skills Competition

To commemorate the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and to celebrate the spirit of hard work and innovation, Anhui Jinyu Printed Tin Can Co., Ltd. successfully held a labor skills competition themed “Showcasing Skills and Celebrating Unity on July 1st” on June 28, 2025. Organized by the company’s Party Branch under the "Party Building + Production" initiative, the event highlighted both technical expertise and team spirit, offering a heartfelt tribute to the Party’s birthday through action and craftsmanship.

Five teams comprising 25 participants—including Party members, probationary members, and staff representatives—gathered for the competition. Party members led from the front as team leaders, taking on dual roles as coordinators and frontline participants. They set the standard with their skilled techniques and motivated their teams through hands-on involvement in rope threading, knotting, component assembly, and final cleaning.

From 9:00 a.m., teams entered into five hours of focused, collaborative effort. The atmosphere on-site was energetic and purposeful, filled with the rhythm of tools and the camaraderie of teamwork. The event not only tested individual skills but also fostered collective problem-solving under real-time pressure.

After a day of close competition, the final results were announced:

Team 2 won first place for their outstanding performance

Teams 1, 4, 5, and 3 followed in second through fifth places, respectively

The event concluded with a prize ceremony where winning teams received rewards worth approximately RMB 2,000, including assorted beverages and daily essentials. These prizes served as both recognition of achievement and motivation for continued excellence. Team members expressed their commitment to applying the same level of dedication to their daily roles, contributing to Jinyu’s ongoing growth and innovation.

More than just a contest, this labor competition served as a vivid demonstration of unity and drive. Party members played a leading role in overcoming challenges, while employees showed equal enthusiasm, highlighting the spirit of craftsmanship and teamwork that defines the Jinyu workforce. Through the event, participants honed practical skills, deepened collaboration, and gained a renewed appreciation for the value of labor.

While the competition has concluded, the spirit it inspired continues to grow. The Party Branch plans to further develop platforms such as “Party Member Model Posts” and “Skill Showcases,” integrating leadership and expertise into daily operations.
